What can I expect at Calvary?

What is the style of your worship service?

Worship begins at 11:00 AM each Sunday. We use a mixture of contemporary Christian songs as well as traditional hymns. We could be classified as “blended” in our worship style. The pastor preaches a message from the Bible, explaining the text and applying it in a relevant way. The evening service is very casual with testimony times, singing favorite hymns, and a message from the Bible.

What should I wear?

You will see a broad range of clothing styles at Calvary. Some men wear coats and ties, some women wear dresses. Other folks dress casually or in “business attire.” We are more concerned with seeing you rather than your wardrobe.

Do you have Sunday School?

Calvary has a traditional Sunday School with classes for all ages that begins each Sunday morning at 9:45. If you’re planning a visit, there will be greeters to make sure you and your children get to a class suited for you.

Do you have a nursery?

There is a nursery during each service for your child, newborn to three years old, staffed by Calvary volunteers.

How do I join Calvary?

There are four different ways you can join our church.

1. By a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and through baptism
2. By a transfer of letter from a church of like faith and practice
3. By baptism if affiliated with another denomination
4. By a statement of faith if past membership records cannot be obtained

Calvary Is Adopting Graham Elementary School

Because Calvary holds a special place for students and staff of Graham School, we have adopted them as "Friends of Calvary." We will be in continuous prayer for them during the school year.

Calvary will be working on providing masks to be used as you deem needed. We don't want teachers or parents stressing over having enough masks to meet the needs of everyone.

Graham will be called out by name in our church prayer times. If there are any specific prayer needs (without divulging names) feel free to contact our church office. You can also email your requests to cathy@visitcalvaryonline.com
